  • Transferring E-Tickets through Tix

    Ticket transfers are a secure and easy way to send tickets to friends, or a great way to send someone a gift.  This can also be used if you sell your ticket because you cannot attend the event.

    How to Transfer E-Tickets

    To transfer tickets, visit https://www.tix.com/ticket-sales/tix/1/tickets. You can also click the Transfer Tickets link in your confirmation email.

    Tickets that are eligible to be transferred will have a Transfer Selected Tickets button with checkboxes next to each ticket. To transfer tickets, check the box next to the tickets you’d like to transfer and select Transfer Selected Tickets.  

    Enter the name and email address for the recipient of the tickets and click Transfer Tickets. An email will be sent to the recipient prompting them to accept the ticket transfer. The recipient must click Accept Transfer in the email to complete the transfer.

    Any pending transfers that have not been accepted by the recipient yet will be listed under the Pending Transfers tab on your My Tickets page.

    When the recipient accepts the ticket transfer, they’ll be prompted to log into their Tix account. If they don’t have a Tix account, they can create one by clicking the Create Account link below the login fields.

    Once the recipient is logged into their Tix account, the ticket transfer will be completed.


    Cancel a Pending Transfer

    If you need to cancel a pending transfer, click the Cancel Pending Transfer button next to the tickets on your My Tickets page. The recipient will also be able to cancel the transfer from within the transfer email they were sent.
