Valerie Smith is an award-winning Grassicana artist with her own style
which blends bluegrass, country, and Americana music. Valerie has rocked
the bluegrass world for over two decades with a string of national and
international tours, critically acclaimed recordings, and Grammy, IBMA, and Dove Award nominations. Val’s vocals are impressive. Her range is expansive and blends bluegrass, blues, gospel, Broadway and everything in between.

Originally from Missouri, Valerie is now based in Bell Buckle, Tennessee.  Valerie Smith’s band Liberty Pike features two-time Bluegrass H all of Fame inductee Toom Gray who is on bass.  Also joining Valerie will be Lisa Kay Howard-Hughes on mandolin and vocals, her husband Wally Hughes on dobro, fiddle, guitar, and vocals, and Joe Zauner on banjo!
