COVID 19 News

Vermont lifts remaining COVID restrictions, Monday 6/14/21.

The day we have all been waiting for has finally arrived, twenty days before the goal!  Vermont is the very first state in the U.S. to have 80% of its eligible population get one dose of the vaccine so Governor Scott is lifting all restrictions!

Our anniversary budget could only be held if we had full capacity and originally Vermont’s Governor Scott said we would not be able to have a crowd the size of Jenny Brook until after July 4, 2021.  The June 2021 festival has been postponed to June 21-26, 2022.  We didn’t want to wait another year before seeing our Jenny Brook Family so we hope you will join us in October for the Jenny Brook MiniFest!

Looking Ahead

  • Masks and physical distancing are no longer required but they are still recommended for people who have not been vaccinated, according to state guidelines. Unvaccinated people are still being encouraged to become vaccinated to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
  • Children younger than 12 are not yet eligible for the vaccine.  It will be up to their parents to make choices about whether their children should wear masks inside.
  • Businesses and municipalities can still set rules that are stricter than the state.
  • Emergency medical service providers will continue to wear masks.
  • Sectors that are governed by federal rules will continue to have restrictions in place until the federal government lifts them.
  • Now we can all safely gather for a Jenny Brook Mini-Fest on October 8, 9 & 10, 2021.
