“The new Queen of Bluegrass.” – The Wall Street Journal
In the 17 years since that WSJ rave, Rhonda Vincent has only grown in stature. From 1999 to 2006, Vincent uncorked a remarkable streak of honors at the International Bluegrass Music Awards, taking home an award each year, including seven consecutive Female Vocalist of the Year nods. She has only added to her cluttered shelf of awards since then, adding five Grammy nominations and dozens of SPBGMA honors. Today she is recognized as an irreplaceable part of the contemporary bluegrass scene, and one of the most dynamic performers in her genre–or any other, for that matter.
